STEER YOUR CAREER Job Networking Seminar: Job Search / Resume Preparation - Identify Your Transferable Skills

In your last job position, did you perform any of the following activities – Did you analyze data, compare numbers, extract information, organize work, lead a project, coordinate an event, develop procedures, help others in need, persuade someone to your way of thinking, work on a team, assemble something, install something? If you’ve done any of these or more activities – you’ve likely developed some type of transferable skill. These skills may be interests (things you like to do) or they may be your abilities (things you do well). This hands-on workshop will show you how to look for similarities and overlap in your skills so that you can develop a list of strengths for your next job. Join us as we help you translate your strengths into transferable skills for your Accomplishment Based Resume.
