Live music all day! Food! Raffles! Fun!
Music lovers of all ages will enjoy a day filled with fun and music at the first-ever ExtravaBANDza, sponsored by the St. Croix Central Band Boosters. The fun will begin at 2 p.m. and will feature live music all day, with jazz ensembles from both the St. Croix Central middle and high schools, Dirty Shorts (Dixieland), the Pink Ties (Rock/Pop), The Drop (Rock/Pop), Boondoggle, and more, wrapping up at 2 a.m. on Sunday.ExtravaBANDza 2014 will feature music, along with pizzas for sale, whole or by the slice. There will be paddle raffles and basket raffles the day of the event, and a grand raffle with tickets for sale in advance or at the event. The purchase of a grand raffle ticket enters the purchaser into the raffle, provides admission for two, and is good for a large pizza at JJ's either the night of ExtravaBANDza or at another date. The grand prize is a 7-night stay at Wyndham Vacation Resort at Glacier Canyon in The Wilderness, Wisconsin Dells.
The SCC Band Boosters, the organizers of the event, hope to raise money toward their goal of $10,000 to purchase a tuba for the middle school, a baritone sax for the high school and music literature for both schools.
