In exchange for your email and ZIP code, deals are delivered to your inbox or you can search these sites for deals near you. Here’s a couple of my favorites and one recently discovered:

Love to eat, hate to cook? This site offers $25 gift certificates for $10 or less. I’ve used them at , the , , the , and . Currently I’m holding four for which I paid $2 each at Restaurant.com’s 80 percent off sale: Ike's Food & Cocktails and the Imperial Room in Minneapolis plus La Cocinita in Bayport and Murasaki Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar in Stillwater.

KLBB Radio Super Saver
Call me old school, and I’m proud of it. For you youngsters, the Twin Cities' KLBB Club 14 was years ahead of the coupon pack; its live call-in Super Saver program offered discounted gift certificates for services, restaurants and the like (it still airs from 11 a.m. to noon weekdays). KLBB moved to the St. Croix Valley and to 1220 on the AM dial. Check its Super Saver store and e-newsletter, which includes a $50 gift certificate for My Sister’s Garden in Hudson for $35.
