Fun Food Factory Carnival Food is in Hudson for Booster Days
Hudson Booster Days brings carnival food to town for the weekend — don't miss the summertime tradition.
It’s — time to get full of cheese curds, corn dogs and mini donuts. Fun Food Factory has three food stands downtown Hudson to satisfy fair fare craving this weekend.
Cindy Neuber, co-owner of Fun Food Factory, said the best items across the three menus are the cheese curds and corn dogs because the recipe is made from scratch and they’re among the best-selling items.
Prices range from $6 for special funnel cakes to $5 for a jumbo hot dog to $2 for bottled water to $1.50 for a bag of popcorn.

However, she said, in Hudson the most popular item each year are the mini donuts.
“In the south part of (Highway) 53 it’s only funnel cakes,” she said quizzically. “In the north part of (Highway) 53, and here in Hudson, it’s all about the mini donuts and not many people want the funnel cakes.”

Other menu items include cotton candy, popcorn, caramel apples, pretzels, nachos, onion rings, French fries, jumbo pickles, deep-fried
candy bars and Pepsi products.
Neuber travels with the three food stands around the state with Earl’s Rides carnival operation. She said Hudson is similar to many of the other small towns the stop at throughout the state but has a bit more of a tourist feel to it than others. When she comes to town she likes to try and take a break from the heat of the kitchens to shop at the downtown establishments.
The Hudson Booster Days food stands will be open Friday-Sunday from noon-midnight and on Monday from noon “until it slows down,”
Neuber said.
