Group Leaf LLC Awards $1,000 Graphic Arts Scholarship to UW-Stout Student

Group Leaf LLC, a family-owned marketing and public relations firm based in Hudson, announces the recipient of the inaugural Group Leaf Graphic Arts Scholarship -- Elizabeth Bischoff, a student currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI.

Bischoff is currently pursuing a double concentration in Design and Interactive Media and is scheduled to graduate in May 2016. After graduation, Bischoff plans to start her career in the Twin Cities area.

“We are proud to award our annual Graphic Arts Scholarship to someone as talented and motivated as Elizabeth,” said Greg Leaf, president of Group Leaf. “We understand the importance of supporting talented students as they continue to work towards their academic and professional goals.”

The principals of Group Leaf, Greg and Cathy Leaf, also fund a scholarship for University of Wisconsin—Eau Claire public relations students. This year’s recipient was Cassie Rudd, a Public Relations-track student at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

“We sponsor these scholarships as our repayment for how well served our company has been with grads and interns attending University of Wisconsin System universities,” said Leaf, a 1979 graduate of UW-Eau Claire. Agency co-owner Cathy Leaf is an alumnus of UW-River Falls. And the agency’s current staff represents graduates of UW-Eau Claire, UW-Stout and UW-Stevens Point.
