Group Leaf LLC Awards $1,000 Graphic Arts Scholarship to UW-Stout Student
Group Leaf LLC announces the 2015 recipient of the Group Leaf Graphic Arts Scholarship.

Group Leaf LLC, a family-owned advertising and public relations agency based in Hudson, WI, announces the 2015 recipient of the Group Leaf Graphic Arts Scholarship – Rebecca Sheahan, a student currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI.
From Oakfield, WI, Sheahan is currently pursuing a Graphic Design Major and Business Administration Minor. She designs graphics for organizations on campus, including the Newman Student Organization and the campus creative arts journal, Prometheus. Sheahan is also involved with the UW-Stout Concert Band, Honors College, Stepping Stones and Winter Haven – a community warming shelter for the homeless.
“We are proud to award our annual Graphic Arts Scholarship to someone like Rebecca, who is not only a talented designer, but also involved with her local community,” said Greg Leaf, president of Group Leaf. “We understand college is a financial burden for many and believe it is important for area businesses to provide support to hardworking students.”

The principals of Group Leaf, Greg and Cathy Leaf, also fund a scholarship at the University of Wisconsin— Eau Claire for students seeking a career in public relations.
“We sponsor these scholarships to repay the University of Wisconsin System for continuing to provide excellent education to graduates. Our company has been well-served with graduates and interns from the UW system,” said Leaf, a 1979 graduate of UW-Eau Claire. Agency co-owner Cathy Leaf is an alumnus of UW-River Falls.
