Accomplishment: David created a proposal to sell beads and give the profits to an organization which purchases mosquito nets to protect people in Kenya from the deadly disease, malaria. So far, David's has earned more than $200 for his project—enough to buy 20 mosquito nets.
Key to Awesomeness: David is both entreprenurial and artistic—he blows glass with his father, and was bold enough to ask a teacher for a start-up loan for the project, which was willingly given.
