Hudson Patch Whiz Kid: Cadet Tommy Quasius

School: 2011 graduate of St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy (SJNMA)

Accomplishment: Tommy graduated from SJNMA this spring as a second lieutenant of Battalion S-4 from the 127th Corps of Cadets.

Key to awesomeness: Tommy said he was sent to the military school after some legal trouble and when his parents thought he "needed to mature." Graduation, he said, was a big deal because the school was tough and it was significant turnaround from where he was when he started school there. Getting the rank of second lieutenant, Tommy said, was a significant honor and motivated him to do well and strive to be a good leader. Next year he plans to go to Winona State University to study marketing but may enter the Marines later.
