MAP: City Spends $97,000 on 2012 Street Projects; Find Out Where
Crack sealing and flex patching will take place on several city streets at some point during the summer.
The City of Hudson Common Council at its June 25 meeting voted to accept a bid of $97,871 by Fahrner Asphalt Sealers LLC, a company headquartered in Plover.
The project includes crack sealing, flex patching and perhaps some spray patching on the following city streets and parking lots:
- Coulee Road: Second Street to 11th Street (crack sealing)
- 11th Street: Coulee Road to Wisconsin Street (crack sealing)
- Heggen Street: Crest View Drive to Hanley Road (crack sealing)
- Crest View Drive: Heggen Street to Carmichael Road (flex patching)
- Stageline Road: Carmichael Road to city limits (flex patching)
- Saint Croix Street: First Street to 11th Street (flex or spray patching)
- Boat Launch Parking Lot: Lakefront Park (crack filling and flex patching)
Fahrner has yet to schedule a start date for the project.
