Matt Drudge, owner of The Drudge Report news aggregator, tweeted that he has now left the Republican Party.
"It's now Authoritarian vs Libertarian," Drudge tweeted. "Since Democrats vs. Republicans has been obliterated, no real difference between parties..."
In a followup Tweet, Drudge finished with, "Why would anyone vote Republican? Please give reason. Raised taxes; took us off to war again; approved more NSA snooping. WHO ARE THEY?!"
