New series on timeless wisdom for today’s world starts this weekend at Faith Community Church

Where would we be without modern developments and advancements in technology?  Think of all the benefits that we enjoy because of technological breakthroughs. But, there are some things in life—deep things, meaningful things, spiritual things—which require us to rediscover what has gone before, so that we can flourish in the modern world.

This weekend, Tim Porter, Lead Pastor at Faith Community Church, will begin a new sermon series, “Ancient Wisdom for the Modern Family,” which will reveal timeless wisdom about everyday living found in Ephesians 6:1-4 of the Bible.

“The Bible offers wisdom that isn’t novel or cutting edge, but is lasting and solid,” Porter commented. “As we apply it and really seek to live it out, we experience a joy, power, and purpose, which is a real help for real families in the modern world. “
