Odeen to Kickoff State Assembly Campaign With Hudson Event
Pat Kreitlow, candidate for U.S. Congress, will also attend the event.

Diane Odeen, the Democratic candidate challenging Rep. Dean Knudson (R) for his seat in the Wisconsin State Assembly, will hold a campaign kickoff event at in Hudson on Sunday. , the Democratic candidate challenging Rep. Sean Duffy (R) for his seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, will also be at the event.
Because of recent redistricting, Hudson will be in the Seventh Congressional District, currently represented by Duffy, instead of the Third Congressional District, which is currently represented by Rep. Ron Kind (D).
Election Day is Nov. 6.

Hudson, WI – Diane Odeen, candidate for the 30th Assembly District, will hold a campaign kickoff event on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Weitkamp Park Pavilion in Hudson. Diane will be joined by Pat Kreitlow, candidate for Congress in the 7th District.
Diane Odeen is a mom, lawyer, and community volunteer. She lives in River Falls and works in Hudson. A native Wisconsinite, Diane grew up on a dairy farm where she learned the value of hard work, fair play, and giving back to your community. She is running for the 30th Assembly district, which includes Hudson, North Hudson, Roberts and River Falls.
Pat Kreitlow is a former news anchor at WEAU-TV in Eau Claire, and a former State Senator. He is running for Congress in Wisconsin’s new 7th Congressional District, which now includes St. Croix County and all point north.
The event will begin at 2 p.m. at the beautiful new Weitkamp Park Pavilion in Hudson. Guests are encouraged to bring their walking shoes. Kids and pets are also welcome. There will be snacks and a chance to meet the candidates, followed by a group photo. All are invited to join the candidates as they walk through a nearby neighborhood to gather nomination signatures to get on the ballot for the November election.
Weitkamp Park is located at 548 O'Neil Road in Hudson - just off Hanley Road, near the new water tower. Take Carmichael Road south from I-94, turn left on Hanley, and take the first left at the top of the hill. Weitkamp Park is on the left.
