A pizza can go a long way. Check out Red’s lunch buffet from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on weekdays for $5.99. Or order in a "Greek Delight" pizza with a Tzatziki sauce base topped with gyro meat, onions and tomatoes for $11.50.


For the meat eater, spend $5.75 to get a Turkey Club with maple-glazed turkey, smoke house bacon, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, sprouts and mayo. The vegetarian can grab a Gourmet Vegetarian with cheddar and provolone cheeses, avocado spread, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, onion and mayo served on a sub roll for $4.50. Add some chips for $1.35 each and you’ve got a meal for $12.95.

Utilizing restaurant specials is a great way to save a few bucks. Want an appetizer and two entrees for $20 – Applebees has got it covered. Some of the full-size appetizer and entrée options include artichoke dip, mozzarella sticks and onion rings for appetizers and a 7 ounce sirloin with either garlic mashed potatoes or baked potato, three cheese chicken penne pasta or riblets with fries and coleslaw.

Get your inexpensive grub on by ordering artichoke dip appetizer for $8. Have meals of grilled cheese with three cheeses and favorite bread for $7 and an Ellsworth Slugger burger with cheese curds, jalapenos and pepper jack cheese. Both meals are served with chips. The total bill will squeak in at $24.

Think you can’t get shrimp, pork and beef and fixings, for under $25 in Hudson and you’d be wrong. Ask for the Triple Royal Delights and get jumbo shrimp, roast pork, beef with mushrooms, snow peas, broccoli, baby corn with house special sauce for $8.50. Even throw in some lemon chicken and white rice for $7.95. Don’t spare the order of 10 fried wontons for $3.25. The total meal ticket is $19.70.
