Patch Picks: Five Great Pizza Places in Hudson

With the new location up and running, the menu at Dough Boys is the same great menu it’s been for years. Specialty pizzas include Chowabunga with meat galore; the Big Daddy sporting one of the state’s most famous exports - cheese; and a Greek pizza with black olives, sliced tomatoes and crumbled feta cheese. The St. Paul native restaurant is open for lunch with a buffet full of salad, pizza and pizza fries. Some of the menu highlights include a House Deluxe with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, peppers and olives; Totally Veggie topped with mushrooms, black olives, green olives, onions and green peppers; and Sweet Baby Ray’s barbeque is featured on the BBQ Chicken pizza along with bacon, banana peppers, pineapple and onions.

Plan to wait about 40 minutes when you pile four toppings of your choice along with Mozzarella when ordering the Mega Style off the menu – the toppings keep coming. Other choices at the North Hudson bar include the prehistoric Tyrannosaurus Rex finished with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, ground beef, Italian sausage and bacon; or celebrate two of Italy’s creations with a dago pizza – onions, jalapeños, lots of mozzarella and dago meat.
