Patch Picks: Five Great Places for Breakfast in Hudson

Start the day off with the most important meal at one of these first-meal-of-the-day standouts in town.

It’s in the name –A bagel and cup of joe is a standard on-the-go kind of breakfast. With nearly 20 varieties of bagels and lots of topping options breakfast won’t be boring. Also on the menu are hot breakfast items including eggs, meat and veggies.


Omelets is the name of the game at Dick’s Bar & Grill for breakfast. The made-to-order stuffed egg creations make taste buds happy. There’s also a section of the menu dedicated to all things hashbrowns.


Can’t talk about breakfast without considering Perkins Restaurant. Want it all and a huge muffin? Get it at Perkins from their extensive bakery. Breakfast is served all day at the 24-hour location. And who says a slice of pie can’t be breakfast?

When restaurant officials crossed the border from Minneapolis into Hudson, the breakfast greatness of Key’s Café & Bakery also made the trek. The family feel of a Sunday morning breakfast food is the name of the game at Key’s. It can be easy on the wallet, too: Two eggs, toast and breakfast meat for under $4 is a menu option.


It's true—Kozy's has a breakfast menu. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and 8 a.m. every Sunday. Typical breakfast fare, such as eggs, omelets, bacon, ham, sausage, hashbrowns and frech toast, is available. The only thing missing is pancakes. But to make up for it, Kozy makes a mean breakfast pizza. Try the Pizza Scramble or the Scramble Supreme for a hearty, hot breakfast.
