More than 30 supporters of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker took over the corner of Carmichael Road and Crestview Drive near Green Mill on Saturday morning.

For about two hours the group waved pro-Walker signs, reminded people to vote on Tuesday, May 8, and encouraged passing motorists to honk in support of the governor. Elisabeth Friesen was the impromptu event's lead organizer.

"We want to let people know that we have to vote Tuesday for Scott Walker, because some people don't think it's important to come out and vote in the primary," Friesen said. "He is on the ballot and we must vote for Walker."
