Before they went about their usual Friday, two Smilebk agents combined forces and met up one morning at Starbucks to make sure the early birds got their worm and a jumpstart to their day. The mission was simple: cover 100 consecutive dollars of java-filled transactions.
Without any sort of limit per customer, each till was equipped with a $50 Starbucks gift card. The barista was to swipe the card until its balance was gone, issuing a Smilebk card to each customer.
During the process, both agents discretely captured the pre-caffeinated smiles and gestures of appreciation with basic smartphone and camera technology. (We'll be getting that footage to you shortly!)
