UPDATE (6:30 p.m., March 5, 2013): About 8 inches of snow fell throughout the day in Hudson on Tuesday. The storm tapered off in the afternoon and the sun even peeked out from behind the clouds for a brief time around 5 p.m.
Local kids already had the day off from school for spring break. What did you do? Did you go sledding? Build a snow man? Or did you spend all day digging out of your driveway?

INCLUDING THE TWIN CITIES METROPOLITAN AREA. THE SNOW WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE MORNING ACROSS WESTERN MINNESOTA BEFORE ENDING THIS AFTERNOON. THE SNOW ACROSS EASTERN MINNESOTA AND WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE DAY WITH THE HEAVIER SNOW ENDING IN EASTERN MINNESOTA BY LATE MORNING.
