Sport Clips Preparing to Open Hudson Location

Sport Clips, a salon that specializes in haircuts for men, is planning to open the doors to its new Hudson location the first time on March 1, according to franchisee Jeff Foley. A grand opening will take place later.

Foley said the store construction was completed last week and that products and supplies were being set up this week. He is still interviewing and hiring stylists to work in the shop in the new strip mall at Carmichael Road and Center Drive. Sport Clip neighbors will include the recently opened Orange Leaf yogurt shop and a Noodles & Company eatery.

The nearest Sport Clips location is in Oakdale, and it also was run by Foley until he sold it in 2010. Foley also owns Sport Clips franchises in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls.

Sport Clips will compete with the recently opened Pro-Cuts location and established local barbers at Fantastic Sams, Great Clips, The Stylists and Charlie's Barber Shop & Shave, and several other hair salons that serve male customers.
