Woodville Bank Robbery Suspect Taken Into Custody
A Woodville bank robbery suspect has been taken into custody, thanks to a citizen's timely tip.

WOODVILLE -- A Woodville bank robbery suspect has been taken into custody, thanks to a citizen's timely tip.
The Woodville Police Department, in cooperation with the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, announce the arrest of Justin Chaze Hayes, age 19, for the bank robbery that happened Thursday October 6, 2016 at the Citizens State Bank in Woodville.
A citizen tip led to the recovery of the getaway vehicle and identification of Hayes as a suspect in the bank robbery.

Hayes was located in a motel in Grand Forks North Dakota and taken into custody without incident on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:15 PM. Hayes is awaiting extradition to Wisconsin.
Chief Lori Hetfeld would like to thank all of the citizens who provided information leading to the arrest of Hayes.

Last Week's Robbery
The St. Croix County Sheriff's office had been asking for the public's help after the Citizen's State Bank in Woodville was the scene of an armed robbery on Thursday morning.
On Thursday October 6, 2016 at 10:02am., the Woodville Police Dept. and the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office responded to a bank robbery at the Citizen’s State Bank, 140 S. Main St. in the Village of Woodville.
The suspect entered the bank and pointed a long gun at a teller where an undisclosed amount of cash was taken. The suspect then left the bank. The suspect was wearing a yellow construction type vest, ski mask and camouflage baseball hat.
