STAR PRAIRIE CRASH LEAVES ONE MAN DEAD

54-year-old New Richmond man dies after his vehicle leaves the roadway, strikes an outbuilding early Friday morning.

TOWN OF STAR PRAIRIE - A 54-year-old New Richmond man has died as a result of a single-vehicle crash early morning Friday in the Town of Star Prairie, according to a St. Croix County Sheriff's Office news release.

Ronald C. Schuh was driving his 2011 Chevrolet Cruze northbound on 110th St., when officials say his vehicle left the roadway, striking an outbuilding on a residential property there.

He was transported to Westfield's Hospital in New Richmond where officials say he died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

The Sheriff's office says he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the St. Croix County Sheriff's office.
