The Valley House Serves Nightly Dining Options

The large space at The Valley House may be the money maker but family dining is also on the menu.

The Valley House is well known for the wedding receptions and banquets and the large space it has. But co-owner Sheena Peterson said people might be surprised to know the restaurant is open during the week for dinner service.

“We’re open Tuesday through Saturday and the kitchen is open from 5-9 (p.m.),” she said.

One of the highlights of the week is a Friday night buffet, she said.
The all-you-can-eat option has a large variety of meats: fish, chicken, shrimp and ribs. Salad and soup and many other fixings make the dinner a dining experience.

Peterson said The Valley House “totes the best burger in the valley.”
“If I’m not hungry for a burger, because ours are so good, I’ll have chicken marsala or shrimp fettuccini,” she said.

Other menu items include sandwiches, salads, many seafood options and broasted chicken.

All the food options on the menu and buffet help make the space a favorite for regulars, Peterson said.

“Kids love to come here; we’re like one big family out here when it comes to our regulars,” she said noting the large open spaces they have at the restaurant make it a comfortable atmosphere for families. “We have a group of loyal customers who keep coming back.”

But when it comes to what makes The Valley House unique, Peterson said it’s the ability to seat about 400 people. The bar, menu and open space are perfect for couples planning wedding receptions and other big functions.

“We stay really busy with weddings,” she said noting it’s their primary business along with other large-group meetings. The owner said high school groups, companies and other functions rely on the large space.

On Nov. 5 the space will transform into a comedy club for some comedians.
