Well Back Online; Watering Restrictions Lifted in City, Village

After three weeks of watering restrictions in the City of Hudson and the Village of North Hudson, a city well has been repaired and the restrictions have been lifted.

for the City of Hudson and the Village of North Hudson have been lifted, according to an email from a city official.

Water Department Director Tim Caruso sent the following statement to Patch on Monday morning:

"As of this morning, 'Well 3' was put back on line, giving us the ability to produce water at 100 percent of our capacity. Please keep in mind however, when watering during a hot sunny day, 50 percent of that water evaporates before penetrating the ground. The best times to water are early evening (after 7 p.m.), night and early morning (before 9 a.m.). Thank you for your patience."
