Wylie Nabs the Batting Practice Experience!

Last month, Smilebk was the recipient of the Batting Practice Buddy Experience, a generous donation from our good friends at RedPath Consulting Group. This experience included the opportunity for one youth to be on the field to watch the Twins' batting practice before a home game, personally meet players, and then to stay and watch the game. After Smilebk searched the surrounding communities for a young baseball fanatic, we couldn't help but take pause at the submission from a mother from Hudson, WI. Wylie's mom wrote to us, explaining the extent of her son's baseball enthusiasm, closing her explanation with their intent to pay it forward. 

On September 10th, the Smilebk team met Wylie, his mother, and his grandmother outside Target Field, as the Minnesota Twins prepared to take on the Oakland Athletics.  Dressed head to toe in Twins' attire, Wylie knew just how to reassure us that we found the right man for the job.  

After snapping a few photos, we sent a very giddy Wylie inside the stadium, where he would spend the evening on the field before the game amongst the Twins' players, absorbing their techniques and admiring their talents.
