You Tell Us: Who Won the First Gubernatorial Debate?
Hudson Patch users chimed in on Facebook about Friday night's gubernatorial debate between Gov. Scott Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. Now we want to know what you think.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett clashed Friday night in the first gubernatorial debate ahead of the June 5 recall election.
Over on on our Facebook page, we asked what people thought of the debate, who they thought won, and why? Here's what some of them had to say:
- Cherie Burton: Walker
- Brenda Bredahl: Barrett is the better debater all politics aside and purely from a rhetoricians perspective.
- Elisabeth Murcia-Friesen: Barrett didn't answer any of his question, just dodged. Walker did, and he won and will win.
- Chris Larsen: It was almost funny the way he kept answering every question with basically the same lines. Must have taken the mayor ten minutes to prepare.
- Christopher Parent: Obama was probably holding cue cards for Barrett.
- Cheryl McCarten: I only caught the last 20 minutes and my impression was that Barrett's wrap-up comments about Walker's time out of state were very concerning to him for some reason. Barrett never asked about specific trips even though he had several opportunities to do so. Walker kept answering that his constituents all over the state knew where he was. Kind of lame on Barrett's part given the importance of wrap-up commentary.
- Nichole Bastyr: Walker won- Barrett didn't even state his platform, he just pointed fingers and wouldn't even answer the questions head on.
What did you think of the debate? Who won? Why? Tell us in the comments.
