• Algoma Public Library introduces new InfoSoup catalog and app (doorcountydailynews.com) — Kewaunee Public Library patrons can now use the upgraded InfoSoup catalog and new mobile app to search materials, place holds, and manage their accounts more easily. Shared with Algoma and Door County libraries, the system also connects you to Wisconsin's Digital Library for e-books, audiobooks, and research tools, all accessible with your existing library card.
   

• Disabled hunters get their chance for deer Saturday (doorcountydailynews.com) — Hunters in Kewaunee County have already registered 33 deer this season, including 22 bucks, as Wisconsin's deer hunt moves into the special gun season for hunters with disabilities. With local clubs like Luxemburg Sportsman's Club sponsoring accessible hunting land, eligible residents can participate Oct. 3–9 before the season continues into the youth hunt.
