• Kohler officials held a grand opening for The Serve on Oct. 1 (sheboygansun.com) — Kohler residents now have a new home for pickleball and platform tennis with the grand opening of The Serve on Oct. 1. Local fitness director Ben Chapman and resort leaders described it as a year‑round hub for racquet sports, family activity, and social gatherings, welcoming both village residents and visiting guests to six new pickleball courts and expanded wellness programming. 
• Five State DOTs, Contractor Partners Honored for Hurricane Recovery Efforts (theasphaltpro.com) — Major transportation leaders from five southeastern states received the American Road & Transportation Builders Association’s top honor during the group’s annual convention held in Kohler. While the awards recognize hurricane recovery work elsewhere, the event brought national transportation figures and attention into the village, underscoring Kohler’s role as a host for high-profile industry gatherings.
