  1. The Madison Police Department launched an investigation Friday into three non-residential burglaries on the city's west side. According to an incident report, all three incidents took place early Thursday morning. One took place at 7410 Mineral Point Road, the second at 901 South Gammon Road, and the third at 6614 Odana Road. (WKOW)
  2. After a week of learning about the late Chef Leah Chase and the impact her New Orleans restaurant, Dooky Chase, had on the civil rights movement in the 1960s, culinary students at Madison East High School made their own Leah Chase gumbo. The class invited district leaders to lunch with them and take part in conversations about issues within the school. Dr. Carlton Jenkins, the Madison Metropolitan School District Superintendent, says sharing a meal is always a way to start a tough conversation. (WMTV - NBC15)
  3. Two candidates make it as finalists for the Chief Information Security Officer position at the University of Wisconsin. The candidates will participate in on-campus interviews from 1-2 p.m. at De Luca Forum at Discovery Building on Nov. 11 and Nov. 15. (UW Badger Herald)
