- The Madison Police Department has achieved its fundraising goal for K-9 vests. The bulletproof vests will be fitted for six patrol dogs. The funds were achieved within 48 hours of asking the community for help. The new vests are lightweight and can be worn during the dog's entire shift. (WMTV - NBC15)
- Madison police are investigating a Saturday night shooting. Police responded to the incident that happened at the 1000 block of South Thompson Drive. The victim was found with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and Police are currently investigating the cause of the incident. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
- The City of Madison declares a snow emergency while streets are being plowed. The declaration will remain in place until streets are cleared. Overnight alternate side parking restrictions are in place while the declaration remains active. Madison residents are encouraged to find alternate parking options. (WMTV - NBC15)
