Madison Children’s Museum welcomes children and families with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and sensory challenges to experience the museum during sensory-friendly hours, free of charge. This program aims to bring families together to learn through play in an environment that supports the unique needs of children with ASD.
This program is free to all attendees! Pre-registration for the event is recommended, but not required.

Minocqua Brewing Company | Madison Taproom

Austin Cebulske is a saxophonist, educator, and composer hailing from the historically and culturally vibrant music scene of St. Louis, Missouri. He is currently residing in Madison, WI, where he serves as Lecturer of Saxophone &amp; Music at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He leads an organ trio, Soul Impressions, his own jazz trio, and performs as a sideman in a diverse array of music ensembles in the Madison area.
As a performer, Austin has released several albums as a leader, including a self-titled debut with his quartet in 2020 and a trio record, Slophouse, in 2021. He can also be heard as a sideman on recordings with artists like the Funky Butt Brass Band, Drew Zaremba’s Big Band, &amp; the Zach Rich Sextet. Throughout his career, Austin has been privileged to perform with such luminaries as Sheila Jordan, Vincent Gardner, Donald Harrison, Carmen Bradford, Dick Oatts, Rodney Whitaker and Marquis Hill. His extensive performance history has led him throughout Europe and across much of the United States, including to such iconic venues as Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, Jazz At the Bistro, Frederick P. Rose Hall at Lincoln Center and Dazzle Denver.
Austin holds a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Performance from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, a M.A. in Jazz Studies from Northern Illinois University, and is currently finishing a D.A. in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. His dissertation focuses on the colorful improvisational vocabulary of George Coleman.

King Edward loves life. He loves being King and ruling England, particularly the banquets and the knighthoods.

Edward loves his wife, Elizabeth. And he loves his mistress, Jane.

Jane loves her husband, Matthew. Matthew loves Jane, but doesn't particularly love how much Edward loves Jane, so Matthew signs on with the Pirate Stranguidge and his crew.

And that's just the first half of this comedic history by Shakespeare contemporary Thomas Heywood.

This event is suggested for adults and mature teens.

Tickets: $25 in advance, $30 on the day of the show.

Edward the Fourth brings the comedic history of England’s greatest party king to Wisconsin audiences for the first time. Written by Shakespeare contemporary Thomas Heywood, this play zooms in on the brother of future King Richard III. Edward drives his courtiers to distraction, his mother to fits, and his mistress’ husband to a life of piracy on the high seas. Edward is presented in the heart of Madison’s downtown for two weekends only, with tickets available through the museum.

Sip Tea and Explore Women’s History at Villa Louis
Join us for a special day of tea and history at Villa Louis as you explore the rich lives of the women who lived and worked at the iconic estate. Sip hot tea in the Brisbois Warehouse, enjoy refreshments inspired by French Canadian fur trade culture, learn about the Dousmans and other important women of Villa Louis during a presentation, take a guided Brisbois House tour and learn about special objects from the estate collection. The talk will be led by public historian Mary Elise Antoine, author of the newly published An Elegant Edifice: The Women Who Forged a Legacy at Villa Louis. 
Please note that due to its nature as a historic site, not all areas of Villa Louis are ADA accessible. Guests must climb stairs to enter and exit the Brisbois House.
