Love stories and audience participation games taken straight from the pages of Shakespeare (and some Shakes-peers) and brought out to the gorgeous Tyranena Brewing beer garden for our seventh season in the Lake Mills sun! An Instant Juliet chosen from the audience will select the winner among four castmates competing for her attention and will win the right to play a crucial Romeo scene.
Featuring scenes from A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Romeo and Juliet, and more!
Carry-in food encouraged. No carry-in beverages, please. Sit at the beer garden tables or bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the spacious surroundings.

Join Geek Powered and The Legacy of Argyle for a grand opening and ribbon-cutting event on Wednesday, Aug. 12th, from 5:00-7:00 pm, with the ribbon-cutting taking place at 5:30 pm. This multi-chamber event is presented by The Monroe Chamber of Commerce and The Darlington Chamber Main Street.

Black Earth Children’s Museum is hosting a Kindness Weekend, Friday, August 14 thru Sunday, August 16. Fun kindness games, activities, and crafts all weekend long that show your kids how good it feels to be kind to others. Our act of kindness begins Friday night from 5-7pm with a FREE Family Game Night. No admission fee and lots of fun games to play. Saturday, we will have free mini ice cream cones from 10am-noon and Kindness storytelling at 10am. Sunday, enjoy free cookies from Cordelia’s Sweet Shoppe, while they last. We couldn’t be more excited to host our friends from Sardine for day two of our Oyster Stout weekend party.
We collaborated on brewing an Oyster Stout. Sardine provided the oysters, we worked together on a recipe, and then we all got together and brewed a great beer.
But we’re not just tapping a delicious beer. Sardine is also popping up and shucking oysters right here at WDBC 🦪
We’ll be giving away some merch from WDBC and Sardine (that’s right, Sardine has merch now!).
And a bonus (if you needed one): If you attend both Friday and Saturday events, you get two free oysters here at WDBC on Saturday.

Featuring artists from Wisconsin Humanities’ statewide Wisconsin By the People initiative, the event celebrates the creativity, cultural traditions, and personal histories that help define Wisconsin communities.&nbsp;Meet the artists during a lively reception before the program begins, then step into the theater to experience the personal stories behind their art as they demonstrate their craft and reflect on the family, community, and cultural traditions they carry forward.
Arrive early to enjoy a complimentary Mediterranean pita bar from <a href="https://banzomadison.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Banzo</a>, refreshments, artist displays, and conversation.
