Jeff is a labor organizer and philosophy bro.

Madeline is a sassy diner waitress in Nowhere, Washington State.

They meet. Fall in love. Get married.

Madeline begs Jeff not to go to Butte, Montana with the union.

Jeff goes to Butte.

Madeline goes bad.

It's a melodramatic car crash of jealousy, revenge, retribution, talking magpies, and exile in the Yukon from there, complete with cleansing fire.

Once a Broadway standout which became the centerpiece of star Lillian Foster's stage career, not presented to public audiences since 1929.

Until now.

Retrieved (with a lot of help) from the Don Mullally archives and presented as a staged reading by Falconbridge Players this December.
