  1. A suspect has been arrested for a hit-and-run crash that killed a 14-year-old boy earlier this month. The crash occurred around 8 p.m. on Jan. 15 in the 6200 block of Schroeder Road. The Madison Police Department announced in an update on Thursday that Sardarius Goodall has been booked on counts of hit-and-run involving death and hit-and-run involving great bodily harm.   2. Dane County is now accepting applications for the 2022 Partners in Equity Food Grant Program. Community-based organizations can apply for the grant, which supports equity and access in local food systems, through Feb. 28. A total of $20,000 in funding is available for the PIE Food Project Grants this year. (Press Release Desk)
  3. Independent book stores across Madison will come together this weekend for the first-ever "Wisconsin Grown-Up Book Fair." The 90s-themed event will offer a variety of books for purchase from local retailers and will also feature a photo booth, trivia sessions, and a bar.
