  1. Owner of Madison Eats Food Tours and local entrepreneur Otehlia Cassidy won a grand prize of $10,000 on "Project Pitch-It." The program is similar to Shark Tank in that those local to Wisconsin have the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to those in a position to fund a project. Cassidy pitched the idea of a culinary-based travel agency focused in Mexico and Belize. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
  2. On Monday, Mar. 28, the Poor People's Campaign (PPC) will be marching and rallying in Madison. Its goal is to bring attention to the increasingly poor or low-income population in Madison due to COVID, or roughly 2 million people. On June 18, the PPC will hold a mass poor people's assembly and march on Washington DC. In Madison, this will begin at 5 p.m. on State Street and North Carroll Street. (madison365.com)
  3. For those who attended and loved their high school prom or for those who missed out, you have a second chance at the dance until Mar. 27.
