Here are the top stories in Madison today:

  1. The Madison Parks Foundation plans to match donations up to $30,000 as part of an ongoing effort to raise money to make city parks more accessible. The new matching gift program was announced yesterday, just ahead of this year's Giving Tuesday, and runs until the end of 2021. Earlier this year, the foundation received a $100,000 grant to go toward adding five accessible playgrounds throughout the Madison community, as well as a recent anonymous donation that funded an accessible mat and platform to Bernie's Beach.   2. Work on the Interstate 39/90 expansion project between the Madison Beltline and the Wisconsin/Illinois state line is set to wrap up this week, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. The majority of the road is fully open, though a few daytime and nighttime traffic impacts can be expected at the interchanges with Interstate 43 in Beloit and with the Beltline. By Friday, all work is scheduled to be completed. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
  3. UW-Madison Police and University Health Services have launched a pilot program, in which counselors and police co-respond to mental health calls in the area. (Madison.com)
  4. A bus collided with another vehicle on Madison's east side late Monday afternoon; the investigation is ongoing. (WMTV - NBC15)
  5. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced year-round camping reservation openings Monday for over 20 state parks and forests. (WMSN Fox 47 Madison)
