- Two people are recovering after being assaulted during an armed robbery on the city's east side this Saturday night. According to Madison police, a man and woman were attacked at the Mobil Gas Station at 3019 East Washington Avenue around 10:00 p.m. The man was allegedly pistol-whipped, and the woman beaten with fists, during the incident. - A Madison woman originally from Ukraine has launched a Facebook page to share resources, and hope, during the ongoing crisis. Nataliya Akulemao recently relaunched "Friends of Ukraine," a page she first created years ago, to post stories and raise money for her home country. Akulemao hopes to donate these funds to the International Rescue Committee, Razom For Ukraine, and Doctors Without Borders. (WKOW)
- The Wisconsin Poor People's Campaign will organize a demonstration in Madison on Mar. 28. The group will conduct a tour throughout the country as a build-up to a mass demonstration in Washington, D.C. on Jun. 18. The Madison gathering will begin at the top of State Street at 4:30 p.m., then march at 5:00 p.m. (Wortfm)
