Here are the top three stories today in Madison:

  1. A group comprised of Madison Police Department members is focusing on reaching LGBTQ+ youth across the city. On Sunday, members of MPD Pride raised money and awareness for the LGTBQ+ community at a pop-up event, partnering with Dane County nonprofit Briarpatch Youth Service. Anyone interesting in donating to the "Teens Like Us" program can visit the Madison Community Policing Foundation's website and type "Pride" in the description box. (97 Seven Country WGLR)
  2. The City of Madison will begin in-person absentee voting today. All voters will need to bring photo identification; those who need to register or update their registration must also bring a proof of residence document.   3. Madison police have provided additional details on a Friday crash involving a vehicle reported as stolen. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Sun Prairie; officers tracked the vehicle as it drove along the Beltline until it crashed near Monona Drive. According to police, six teenage male suspects fled the scene; five were arrested quickly, while the sixth allegedly jumped off a bridge over the Yahara River. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
