Here are the top three stories in Madison today:
- University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers are currently developing a more targeted form of pesticide for agriculture. The researchers are looking into using RNA interference, delivering double-stranded RNA into insects that make them silence some of their own specific genes. They hope this new form of pesticide will be less destructive to the environment. (Wisconsin State Farmer)
- Madison man builds replicas of iconic Madison places via LEGO. Aaron Williams and his children started building the replicas at the start of the pandemic as a way to pass time. - The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim of the deadly Jan. 15 crash. Madison's Jeremiah Broomfield, 14 years-of-age, died from injuries sustained in the crash on Schroeder Road. No charges have been filed in connection with the case. (WKOW)
