🌱 'The Nutcracker' Canceled Due To COVID + Snow Plows At Ready

Here are the top stories today in Madison:
- The Madison Ballet's final performance of "The Nutcracker" was canceled on Sunday due to several breakthrough COVID-19 cases within the company. Madison Ballet says "incredible efforts" were put forth to ensure the safety of audiences and artists, but the virus outbreak forced the "difficult decision" to call off the final show. - City snow plows were at the ready, but the Madison Streets Department predicted that early warm temperatures and post-snow rain would melt any snow that hit the greater Madison area on Sunday night. City Streets Dept. Spokesperson Bryan Johnson said the best advice is for people to drive safe and slow. (WMTV - NBC15)
- One man driving a motorcycle was injured on Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle versus vehicle accident on Madison's northeast side. The 23-year-old motorcycle driver was transported from the scene to a local hospital in an ambulance for life-threatening injuries. According to Dane County Communications, officers were called to the 1500 block of Packers Avenue at around 12:22 p.m. (WKOW)
