Here are the top 3 stories in Madison today:
- A water main break on Tuesday prompted Public Health Madison & Dane County to close its East Washington office. Officials shared on social media that they plan to reopen the office today. Anyone who had scheduled a vaccination appointment at the office for Tuesday will be contacted for further information about rescheduling. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
- The City of Madison is in dire need of crossing guards. Officials say the city is looking to hire people for the position for the remainder of the school year. The part-time position equals about 10-15 hours per week depending on the guard's location. Interested applicants can apply on the city's job website. (97 Seven Country WGLR)
- A non-profit organization is working with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to deliver picture books to Dane County children for free. All children under the age of five are eligible to receive one free book a month through the Madison Reading Project. Project director Rowan Childs says the group hopes to register around 30,000 children in Dane County. (WMTV - NBC15)
