Happy Friday, Madison! Here's what's happening today in town.

Here are the top 3 stories in Madison today:

  1. The popular Friends of UW-Madison Libraries spring book sale started yesterday and will be ongoing until Saturday at 7 p.m. The money raised from the book sale helps fund the UW library system. This weekend, there will be more than 750 boxes' worth of donated books to sell for the fundraiser, and prices get cheaper as the week goes on. By Saturday, you can pay $5 to fill a bag with as many as you can fit. (97 Seven Country WGLR)
  2. A Madison boy reported missing has been found. Back in March, the Madison Police Department reported 13-year-old Sabastian Murray missing. He was found this week in Freeport, Illinois. Though police report that the boy has ties to the Illinois area, they did not provide any further information. (WREX.com)
  3. The Dane County Fair is on the hunt for participants to join Rockstars In The Ring, a new livestock show for youth with intellectual disabilities. Participants must be 8 to 19 years of age. They will have the opportunity to showcase a pig, rabbit, or sheep and will be paired with a mentor to help guide their experience. The chosen Rockstars will receive free access to the fair, plus free lunch and a Rockstars T-shirt in addition to a pass to bring a guest. (HNGnews.com)
