• Wildwood Park & Zoo welcomes two cougar cubs (onfocus.news) — Wildwood Park & Zoo in Marshfield has welcomed two three-month-old cougar cubs that will eventually take over the popular cougar exhibit once they finish acclimating behind the scenes. The city-run zoo says the cubs are healthy, playful, and will later star in a community naming contest while serving as ambassadors for wildlife education and conservation.
• IDFA announces Safety Recognition Award winners (dairyfoods.com) — Marshfield-based Nelson-Jameson has been honored by the International Dairy Foods Association with a Dairy Industry Safety Recognition Award, spotlighting its strong workplace safety record. The national program recognized 23 facilities overall, putting Marshfield's dairy supply operation in the same league as major plants across the country for safety performance and culture.
