After requesting a new set of acrylic nails, I was told that I could not have them. Instead, she filed my nails using a nail file rather than a drill, to shorten them. They were filed to her preference rather than what I had requested. She also cut my nail bed with her own fingernail, which was quite long. I was looking forward to having a UV Gel for a longer lasting wear, however, she made many errors on each nail and when I left the salon, I realized that the polish was not completely set! They chipped and smudged immediately! I went back to the store the following day to request my money back, as I am from out of town and would not be able to stay for a fix. Immediately both the woman who had done my nails and a man, presumably the owner of the store, verbally assaulted me, claiming that the nails are actually beautiful and there is nothing wrong with them. Gesturing to a non-existent "no refunds sign" on the price list, the man continued to yell at me. They said it would take five minutes to fix. Not seeing any way to leave with a refund, I agreed to have them fix the polish. As I sat there in the chair, they began to explain in very rude tones that things are expensive and they would never demand money back on a service, because people need money to survive. Throughout this life lesson, I noticed that she is painting right over the top of what was already terrible paint job, causing bubbles to form on the surface of my nail. Wanting to get out of this situation, I said that I would leave, and the man yelled at me, saying "No! You complained. You sit down!" I was rattled because of this whole experience, and I would never recommend this location to anyone. I have seen refunds given at other locations for non-issues such a dissatisfaction with a color choice. My complaint, however, was legitimate, and was not honored.
