Menomonee Falls, Wis. – Less than a year short of its 50th anniversary, Anchor Moving Systems began an early “celebration” by assisting with the office relocation of the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau.
Anchor Moving Systems, a BBB Accredited Business since 2009, moved two semi-loads into the agency’s new office, 10019 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis. The three-day move – done mostly over a weekend – resulted in only one day of downtime for the BBB’s operations.
“As a longtime supporter of the Better Business Bureau, we were very pleased and honored to be selected for its move,” said Mike Forrester, Vice-President of Anchor Moving Systems. “Our pricing and references met the organization’s needs, and we were thrilled to be part of its relocation to new quarters.”
“Anchor moved office equipment, computer hardware, and office supplies for a staff of 30 into new office space,” said Randall L. Hoth, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau. “Anchor was chosen because they are a BBB Accredited Business member.”
Eight Anchor Moving Systems employees worked strenuously to ensure the BBB would reopen for business as usual Monday, May 13.
“Minimizing business interruptions for our customers is a primary goal in every move we make,” Forrester said. “We are glad to work on weekends and ‘after hours’ to eliminate lost production. After moving businesses for nearly five decades, we have well-established systems to ensure that operational downtime is kept as low as possible.”
The BBB’s new office has many amenities that will help the organization better serve the public. New meeting rooms offer space for events and seminars, plus mediation and arbitration services. A media room is available for reporter interviews. The move also consolidated the agency’s operations into a more efficient space.
“We thank the Better Business Bureau for the opportunity to serve its needs, and promise to maintain the high levels of performance and integrity expected of its members,” Forrester said.
