Cousins Subs Team Members "Make It A Better Day" for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee

A team of Cousins Subsยฎ volunteers, including Christine Specht, president and COO, gave a fresh coat of paint to a cabin during a volunteer effort for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee this past Saturday at its Camp Whitcomb/Mason in Hartland.ย  Cousins also provided over 270 lunches for the volunteers, parents and kids at the camp.

The camp was hosting a day for 150 children who participate in the Clubsโ€™ SPARK Early Literacy Program.ย  SPARK brings literacy to all spheres of a childโ€™s life: home, community and school.

โ€œโ€™Make it a Better Dayโ€™ is our mission at Cousins Subs and something we should always be striving for,โ€ said Christine Specht, president and COO of Cousins Subs. ย โ€œBoys & Girls Clubsโ€™ SPARK Early Literacy Program is doing just that by encouraging literacy and a joy of reading in young children.ย  We are proud to be able to help at the camp through our โ€˜Make it Better Foundation,โ€™ and to provide meals for this great program.โ€
