DPI Report Cards Were Released Thursday: Here's How Menomonee Falls Performed

MENOMONEE FALLS -- The School District of Menomonee Falls continues to be recognized among the best districts in Wisconsin. Menomonee Falls High School performs in the top 7% of all schools in Wisconsin.

The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) creates a School Report Card and District Report Card for every publicly funded school and district in the state. Based on the criteria set forth by the Department of Public Instruction during the 2015-16 school year, the district performed at he “exceeds expectations” level.

Menomonee Falls scored 78.5 points, and garnered four stars for their "exceeds expectations" ranking.

  • Valley View Elementary 87.8 Significantly Exceeds Expectations

• Student Achievement proficiency in English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics on state assessments

• Student Growth measured by year-to-year improvements in achievement

• Closing Gaps in performance between specific student groups (comparing English language learners, low-income students, students with disabilities, and members of a racial or an ethnic group with their peers)

• On-Track and Postsecondary Readiness is a measurement using reliable predictors of high school graduation and potential post high school success

“The school district is proud of our students, teachers, parents, and the community’s support that have each contributed to this recognition,” said Superintendent Dr. Patricia Greco.

The School District of Menomonee Falls implements continuous improvement strategies to gain efficiencies and also offers strong educational programming opportunities focused on preparing students for career and post-high school success.
