Test Your Chess Mastery Saturday at the Library

Chess Club instructor Ben Corcoran will hold a free all-day chess event in the meeting room. We will open with a chess tournament in the morning.

Registration will run from 9 - 9:45 AM, and play will start at 10 a.m. The tournament will consist of five rounds. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.

In the afternoon, Ben and National Chess Master Bill Williams will take on all willing participants in a Simul, where they will play several chess matches at the same time.

Prizes will be given out to anyone who can beat either of these top players or play them to a draw. Registration for the Simul will begin at 1:30 p.m., and play will start at 2 p.m. Advance registration forms will be available in the library, or interested parties can contact Ben directly at (262) 506-4203 or at benzochess@ches​s.com.
