Falls High School Student Charged With Threatening to Shoot Up The School
Suspect made repeated threats to police, staff and students in January about creating a "Columbine" incident at the school.
A Menomonee Falls High School student is facing charges for allegedly threatening to shoot up the school and create a “Columbine” incident.
Lewis A. Summit, 17, of Milwaukee, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with two counts of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he could face up to six months in prison and $1,000 in fines.

On Jan. 27, police were called to the high school after Summit made repeated threats to staff and students about shooting up the school and making references to the Columbine school shooting in Colorado.
The officer then heard Summit say “I’m going to (expletive) shoot up this place..."
When police arrived at the school, Summit was having a heated discussion with an assistant principal. The officer then heard Summit say “I’m going to (expletive) shoot up this place,” and then immediately took him into custody.

Summit continued to make threats about shooting up the school to the officer and threatening to bring in more people to help him “shoot the place up.”
Police then spoke to Summit’s grandmother who is his guardian and she said he had been making threatening remarks recently. Students and staff said he also made remarks about shooting up the school to them on Jan. 26 as well.
He will make his initial appearance in court March 26.
