History of the Frank J. Hess Cooperage

Come and learn about the Frank J. Hess & Sons Cooperage. This was Wisconsin’s largest independent cooperage.  When it closed in 1966, it was the last cooperage in America that manufactured white oak beer kegs. Speakers are Gary and Jim Hess, grandsons of Frank Hess. Presented by the Richfield Historical Society. Everyone is welcome.
