On Aug. 12, Hazelwood cashed a $517 check from a company called DHR International at N95W18311 County Line Road. Hazelwood, who had an existing savings account with the bank for the past three years, cashed the check, used $25 from it to open a checking account and then took the rest of the money.
The bank was later contacted by Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department to inform them the routing number and bank account were from the clerk of courts office there and not DHR International.
